Love My Amity Blue towels

I’ve had a number of these towels over the past five years. Always great, wash well and don’t collect the sand. Highly recommended.

Love these towels! They are super absorbent and I love that I can drive home after a surf with one wrapped around my waist and the car seat stays dry, which doesnt happen with normal towels. Sand flicks off even when it's wet and they dry out so quickly ready for the next use. I find I don't need to wash them as often too as they dry quickly and stay fresh smelling. They fold up much smaller in my bag, so great when carting a heap of kids stuff to the beach. Really such a good investment and worth every cent. And they look awesome too, I want one in every color!

How absorbent are sand free towels?

Our sand free towels are 390 gsm making them super absorbent and holding three times their weight in water.

What are sand free towels made of?

Our towels are a waffle weave microfiber. We use 80% recycled plastic and 20% polyamide to make them. The fibres of our fabric are so fine and loop free that sand cannot get caught in them, it falls straight off.

Can you put Amity Blue towels in the Dryer?

Our towels dry in half the time of a regular towel. Hanging them on the clothesline to dry is all that’s required. We do not recommend putting them in the dryer.

Where are Amity Blue towels made?

Our towels are designed in Australia and manufactured offshore. We use a yarn called Repreve that was invented by Unifi a company based in North Carolina in the United States. Whenever you see the Repreve logo you can rest assured that your products contain recycled plastic bottles.

How do I clean my beach towel?

Our towels are so easy to clean, a cold machine wash is all that’s required. They will dry on the clothesline in half the time of an average towel and we’ve added a hang tag to easily hang them up if you can’t get to a line.

Does Amity Blue ship orders overseas?

From time to time we ship packages overseas. Although we’re not set up to do this online yet, we understand that people all over the world are now finding out about our amazing products. A quick email with your request of what you would like us to send and where you would like us to send it is all we need. We will get back to you as soon as possible to assist with your request.

How long do the towels last?

Our towels are long lasting and made to the highest standards using 390gsm fabric and double stitched seams. This makes them one of the highest quality towels on the market. We are confident that your towels will outlive any regular towel and you will get many years of enjoyment from them.

Is Amity Blue towels a healthier option than cotton?

Yes! Our towels are antimicrobial which means they kill or slow the spread of bacteria, odours, viruses, and germs. This makes them ideal for travel and using in your home, at the gym, yoga studio, the beach and pool. Our towels are brilliant to use absolutely anywhere.
