We have the ability to create
a more sustainable world.
We have the ability to change the way we dispose of our rubbish right now! In fact, disposing is a thing of the past.
Recycling and reusing are our future and Amity Blue are proud to be a part of this movement.
Our products are made from recycled plastic bottles
Each year more than 8 million tonnes of plastics are dumped into the sea. To put that into perspective, it’s like dumping a garbage truck full of plastic into the ocean every minute for every day of each year.
We have the ability to change the way we dispose of our rubbish right now.

Our impact on a sustainable future
At Amity Blue, we care about the ocean and the impact plastic waste has on our planet. That’s why we create our products using recycled plastic bottles, giving waste a second life instead of letting it end up in our waterways or the sea. By turning discarded plastic into quality beach gear, we’re helping reduce waste and support the circular economy..
We also want to support the people out there making a real difference, which is why we donate $1 from every towel sold to Tangaroa Blue. They’re dedicated to removing marine debris and tackling plastic pollution at its source, helping to protect our beaches and marine life.
Every time you choose Amity Blue, you’re helping to reduce plastic waste and support cleaner oceans.

Since we began we have recycled over 300,000 plastic bottles and this figure just keeps increasing.

We partner with Repreve®
Our towels are designed in Australia and manufactured offshore. We use a yarn called Repreve that was invented by Unifi, a company based in North Carolina in the United States. Whenever you see the Repreve logo you can rest assured that these products contain recycled plastic bottles.
We have created the perfect towel for your active & adventurous lifestyle
Our towels are designed to accompany you to the beach, pool, yoga sessions, at home, or during your travels, offering unlimited benefits to enhance every setting and scenario.

Collaborating with culture
Since 2021, we’ve had the privilege of working alongside Indigenous artist Tyrone Taylor, whose stunning designs bring deep cultural meaning to our towel collection. From the very beginning, Tyrone chose not to take royalties from the sale of his designs. Instead, he asked that a share of the profits be donated to causes close to his heart. Thanks to this partnership, we’ve been able to contribute nearly $5,000 to the Cullunghutti Aboriginal Family and Child Centre and SSPAN (Suicide Prevention & Awareness Network).
Tyrone has decided to align his support with our environmental efforts, directing all future donations from his towel collection to Tangaroa Blue, helping to protect our oceans and marine life.
We’re incredibly grateful for his generosity and vision, and we’re proud to continue sharing his artwork with a purpose.
